There has been a long discussion about the Canon 1D Mark III's problems with autofocus system.
Canon has already released firmwares to improve the Canon 1D Mark III's autofocus system but many still find it lacking for a 1D series camera. This is according to Rob Galbraith's review of the recent firmware release.
Given that there will be an announcement this coming October 20 of the release of the Canon 1D Mark IV, hopefully, this debate will end.
